In my investigation, the research I was unsuccessful in locating my district's mission statement, goals regarding innovation, and 21st-century skills. I know our district has drafted such mission statements, as I served on the district's technology committee a few years ago. Additionally, our district has grown its technology department and staff from 1 to 4 individuals. Additionally, our district has purchased one-to-one devices for all students and upgraded technology for its teachers, staff members, and classrooms over the last few years. Lastly, our district has implemented various online learning platforms and communication tools. I have put in a request to my site administrators regarding our district's mission statement and goals surrounding 21st-century skills and innovation. Lastly, our district has "remodeled" their website to make various components to be more accessible for staff, parents, students, and community members. Therefore, the nformation needed for this week's blog could very well not be available, or invertibly did not make it on to the newly changed website.

That is strange that we both did not find anything when it comes to 21st century learning in our district mission statement. I fell a lot of missions statements that I have seen around my area might be a tad bit out dated. Because when I go into classrooms I see evidence of 21st century learning. It seems like your district in taking steps in the right directions but no all the way there when it comes to the mission statement. I’m very excited to see how schools changes over the next few years when it comes to 21st century learning.
